The Radiology Information System (RIS) is a basic system for the electronic management of imaging units, critical for the efficient flow of data in a healthcare organization.

It supports the entire examination process from scheduling and patient registration in radiological labs, through to the actual examination (by a doctor, operator or nurse) to the creation and issuing of an impression. The MEDSAR RIS medical imaging system guarantees the execution of all basic tasks and allows users to run dedicated features adapted to their specific needs.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

MEDSAR RIS is a program which comprehensively supports the operation of a healthcare unit and the Customer service process. It helps to optimize every stage of patient service – from registration through to examination and the creation of the appropriate impression, up to the final approval of the examination by the doctors.

MEDSAR RIS also allows for the monitoring ofresources and verification of the usage of medical materials and accessories. Additionally, it can generate reports for the National Healthcare Fund based on the collected data.
All features are configured and adapted to the actual needs of a facility. Roles for specific user groups are also created with authorizations depending on particular needs and requirements.

FEATURES OF MEDSAR RIS

easy to use - up-to-date, user-friendly and intuitive interface

legibility of data - description is directly integrated with images

defined content of the dictionaries - during implementation we have the possibility of defining the content of dictionaries and registers, which allows to precisely adjust the system to the realities and needs of the institution

cooperation with technicians

tailored solution - the standard version of the system can be extended with additional features adapted to your needs

It can be an integral part of the HIS system, but also independently manage the department of the diagnostic imaging
