Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS) is a technology offering cost-effective data storage and easy access to images from multiple sources. PACS also provides an electronic platform for the sharing of radiology data, which can be used in other systems, e.g. HIS (Hospital Information System) or RIS (Radiology Information System).
We are constantly working on solutions aimed at improving the operation of the PACS platform and ensuring its continued stability in ever evolving IT environments.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

Electronic medical images and reports are digitally sent to MEDSAR PACS in the universal DICOM (Digital Imaging and Communication in Medicine) format. Other data, such as scanned documents, can be stored in traditional file formats, e.g. PDF. MEDSAR PACS server capacity is selected according to the quantity and scope of examinations.

FEATURES OF MEDSAR PACS

PACS supports DICOM (Digital Imaging and Communication in Medicine) protocol and cooperates with RIS software, allowing for seamless integration with medical systems or devices introduced by the healthcare organization

scalability ? modular system structure enables thetrouble-free expansion of data storage software and capacity

interoperability with MCB ? due to integration with MCB, you can store all photos and impressions in the cloud, raising your security to the next level

MEDSAR PACS connections can be set up based on the present local IT network with throughput of min. 100/1000 Mbit/s and with the use of present active network devices

data backup ? daily archiving of performed examinations

regular software updates to the current version

BENEFITS OF MEDSAR PACS IMPLEMENTATION

TECHNICAL SUPPORT

we offer technical support, including service of parts and assistance in the daily operation of the device. Depending on the client?s needs, we offer remote or onsite support.

COST REDUCTION

the use of MEDSAR PACS allows for significant cost reductions in comparison to the use of standard photo materials ? the savings are reported to reach even 88% of the total initial costs.

BETTER PERFORMANCE AND EFFECTIVENESS

quick access to and archiving of images accelerates the work of radiology units, improves the effectiveness of patient service and hospital operation, and raises the quality of overall service provision.

DATA SECURITY

stable and modern system platform and daily data archiving

UNIFICATION AND TRANSPARENCY

compliance with DICOM 3.0 standard enables MEDSAR PACS to guarantee trouble-free interoperability with other diagnostic equipment, and the information generated can be used in other systems, including RIS or HIS.

HARDWARE WARRANTY

includes express repair or replacement of the equipment with a new device

HIGH AVAILABILITY

PACS allows for the configuration of remote access to information. Quick access to images and related data from anywhere within the network is a huge advantage. It enables a specialist to consult the examination or to perform a telediagnosis or teleradiology with the doctor in another location.
